Passed into Eternal Life on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, age 86. Devoted husband of Donna for 40 years. Beloved dog Sunny. Dad of the late Rose Marie, Russell (Debbie), Connie (Andy) Schrank, Michael (Bryan) and Lisa (Thomas) Brummond. Grandpa of Alec and the late Adam. Brother of Charles (JoAnn) Mertin. Uncle of Janis and great uncle of 1st LT Danielle Mertin-Zovic. Further survived by other family members and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Paul and Marie Mertin.

Roland proudly served his country for the US Navy.

Services were held privately.
