Ronald “Ron” Couturier, born on December 12, 1939 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Hildegard and Tracy Couturier, was called to eternal life on his 81st birthday. He is survived by his loving wife Jan of 59 years, his three daughters Carrie (Dan), Reneé (Tracey), Claudine, and his son Jay (Michelle), as well as his seven grandchildren Samantha, Alyssa, Michaela, Christian, Carlie, Evan, and Nolan. Further survived by sister Pat and brother Bob, preceded in death by his brother Al.
Ron worked for American Motors, Meurer Bakery, and Crestwood Bakery before retiring in 2003. He was an avid golfer with a “wicked slice,” and always cheered on the Packers. Ron loved traveling to Florida to meet with his friends at the Tiki Bar. Those who knew him well loved hearing all his “Ron-isms.” Ron loved nothing more than hosting family and friends for his famous hors d’oeuvres, a dip in the pool, something fresh off the grill, and a cold brew. He will be fondly remembered as the host of the annual “Beers and Ears.”
The family will be reaching out to family and friends regarding a celebration of life at a later time.
