Dr. Ronald J. Holzhauer

Was born to Eternal Life on Monday, May 9, 2022 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Carmen (nee Balistreri) for almost 67 years. Loving father of Deborah, Daniel (Nancy), Thomas and Donald (Lindsay). Proud grandfather of Ron, Angie, Kristin, Lindsey, Macy, Jack, Gabby, McKenna and six great-grandchildren. Also loved by twin sister  Rosemary (Chuck) Ries and brother Chuck (Ceil). Preceded in death by siblings Jack (Joan) and Sister Ruth Marie and Dan (Mona).

Ron was a practicing orthodontist in Wauwatosa and Hartland until retiring in 1994. He cherished relationships with many past students, employees and patients. He was active in the dental community and was adjunct professor at the Marquette University Graduate Orthodontic Program for over 25 years. He enjoyed the outdoors—playing tennis, hunting and camping, skiing in Colorado, boating and golfing in Florida. Most of all, Ron cherished time with family.

Visitation to be held at Krause Funeral Home in Brookfield, Wisconsin on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church, W280N2101 Prospect Avenue, Pewaukee, Wisconsin on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM with entombment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
