Rose Marie Leas (Nee Schaefer) Passed away and is reunited with her husband, Arnold “Arnie” on Thursday, August 12, 2021, age 85. Dear mother of Gregg, Kris (Mike) Guest, Michael, and the late Bryan. Loving grandmother of Nicholas, Ben, Colin, Connor, and Mara. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Rose Marie attended Messmer High School and Marquette University before marrying her sweetheart, Arnie. They married in 1959 in London, England and started a family in 1961. She raised 4 children in Brookfield, WI. Rose Marie was a devoted parishioner of St. Dominic Catholic Parish, where she was a member of the choir and President of the Mother’s Guild. For many years she was a member of the Christ Child Society.

Rose Marie was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed family, friends, cooking for many while surrounded by her grandchildren. Her personality and great sense of humor often lit up the room. She was strong-willed, determined, and rarely took no for an answer! She will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM. Celebration of Life at 5:00 PM. Burial will be held privately at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Ben’s Community Meal Program or Christ Child Society.
