Began her journey home on June 9, 2023 at the age of 96. Devoted wife of Harold for 67 years, who preceded her in death. Treasured mother of Patti (Don) Quintenz and Joanna (Randy) Parlee. Loving grandma to Caitlin and Maria Quintenz and great grandma to Achillez L’eon.
Rose Marie was a lifelong learner who obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from UW-M after her children were grown. She loved a good intellectual discussion, and had an independent spirit and a great sense of humor. Her interests included yoga, baking, knitting, trivia, shopping, games, the theater, the symphony, and taking care of the many dogs she owned and loved with Harold.
Rose Marie generously volunteered her time to many organizations including the Girl Scouts, the Wisconsin Humane Society, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and Badger Home for the Blind.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all who cared for Rose Marie in the last months of her life.
