(Nee Heck) Passed away peacefully on June 24, 2021, at age 99. Wife of the late John H. Horst. Beloved mother of Michael (Esther) Horst and the late John R. (Delores) Horst. Loving grandmother of the late John P. (Nanette) Horst. Great-grandmother of Paulina Horst. Dear sister of the late Martin (the late Fern) Heck.

 

Over the last half of her life, Ruby very much enjoyed the company of her Siamese cats. After retirement, she took up painting through a correspondence course and became a quite accomplished painter of oil landscapes.

 

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Service at 5:30 PM. Private burial at Wood National Cemetery.
