(Nee Gross) Passed into Eternal Life on February 16, 2020 at age 100. She was reunited with her husband Raymond Knackert. Special mother of Judith (Michael) Tremeear. Grandmother of Michele Tremeear, great-grandmother of Sara Tremeear and great-great-grandmother of Echo Mattson Tremeear. Sister-in-law of Janet Gross. Aunt of Linda (Bob) Pagac, Gail Varner, Sally Maki, Cindy (Rev. Mark) Cordes, Bob Gross, Wally (Beth) Gross and Howie (Brenda) Frank. She was preceded in death by her brother Walter Gross, her sister Jeanette (Howard) Frank, her grandson Patrick Tremeear and her great-great-granddaughter Zuri Peterson.

Ruth was a housewife until her husband Raymond passed away in 1965, then became a fiercely proud and independent homeowner until she passed away at 100 years old. Throughout the years, Ruth loved dogs and had many four-legged companions.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 12:00 PM. Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow.
