Dear Bob and Family, I was deeply saddened today to learn of Ruthanne's passing. Though meeting her later in my professional career, I learned so much both professionally and personally from competing and then working together as associates. May the family know that Ruthanne is one of those rare individuals who left an incredible impression on the lives of me and many others that will never be forgotten.

Ruthanne was a wonderful friend and fine mentor throughout my life. My respect will always reach out to her, as will my appreciation for the second chance she gave me when hiring me back at MEE in 1979, which was the springboard to a a fine career. Bob, i’m sure the days have been long and the emptiness challenging, so hang onto those many memories of the times you two shared together and know that my daughter Kaitlyn, still wears the Green Bay Packer hat you gave her when we came to visit you in 2006. Bob and family Living outside Wisconsin since 1966 limited our ability to connect with the Stuarts, but whenever Kristie and I did get to see you, it was always a memorable occasion. The star of every such gathering was the woman who could light up a room, make everyone feel comfortable, and never dwell on her physical aliments. Ruthanne never gave in to her MD but rather enjoyed those around her whether they were close family or distant relatives of her husband living all over the world but mostly in Colorado--like us. May God bless you all and know that Ruthanne MUST be in heaven because she was so deserving of that. Kristie and Mark
