Jason, Jo, and John (and the rest of the Stowell family). I attended Sarah's celebration of life on the day of her funeral. Know I was there in spirit from the very beginning to the end. What journey your family has gone through in the past several years and especially the past year is indescribable. This is more pain than anyone should ever have to go through. Hopefully, there is some peace knowing some family love is shared from up above. I pray for continued strength, peace, and love as you all continue to endure and travel this most difficult year ever in your lives. {{{hugs}}}

Dear Litzenberger and Stowell family, Deep condolences to you. Sarah was a huge part of my childhood and so much of her friendship helped me be the person that I am today. I remember having a neighbor and friend that received and loved my family as we moved right next door. Countless hours of having fun together and enjoying life together. Growing up from immigrant parents from Taiwan, I remember being so lost when figuring out how to fit into the United States and the culture that was around us. I am so thankful for a friend that helped me learn these small intricate things, which don't seem like a big deal to many, but was a big deal to me. I remember you being such an amazing friend and someone who always rolled with the punches and stayed my friend EVEN when others would tease us or me especially when we were around 8 years old - "do you want to go out with Sarah". I said, "sure i would take Sarah anywhere she wants to go." Thank you Sarah for being you. Thank you for your friendship. Thank you for everything. God bless you! Ben Tzeng

Dear Mary and family, I have fond memories from over the many years when your family and mine attended Brookfield Congregational UCC. I remember what kind and caring young women you and Sarah were. Even back then, I could tell you’d both grow into wonderful adults. I was saddened to learn that your dear sister had passed. Adding to the heartbreak of your mom’s death in January. May you feel Sarah’s love and that of your parents surrounding you always. With deepest sympathy, Mrs. Gay Lehman
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I’ve known Sarah since we were 12. We went through middle school, high school, and college together. I’ve been wearing the mala she made for me for weeks. I can’t wrap my head and heart around the fact that she’s gone... and yet, I feel her so near. Praying for the peace that passes all understanding to overwhelm all of us that miss her so much. Fare thee well, bright star. See you again.
