The Life Story of Sean L. Barfield

Sean LeTroy Barfield was born on September 11, 1973 to Dorothy Barfield and Stonewall Kelley in Milwaukee, WI. He departed this life on October 7, 2021. Sean was a graduate of Milwaukee Tech. High School. He also attended ITT Technical Institute in Greenfield, WI and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. He was employed at Rockwell Automation for many years as a Senior Engineering Technician for Product Development. Recently, he was employed several years at Leonard’s DRS also as a Senior Electronic Engineer until his death.

Sean married Sheneana Sledge in the year 2000 and to this union two children were born, Breanna and Jeremiah. He also has two grandchildren, Meah and DeSean. He especially was a loving and devoted father and grandfather who always put them first and was always there for them. Sean loved being around family members and friends. He enjoyed family events and gatherings.

Sean will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He leaves behind to cherish his memories: Sheneana, his wife; Breanna, daughter; Jeremiah, son; Dorothy Barfield, mother; Connie Sledge Nunely, mother-in-law; Dezrick Barfed, brother; Sisters, Brandi and Tracy; three great aunts, Marilyn Newburn, Blanche Clay, and Molly Tyson. Aunts and Uncles: Phillip Barfield, Phyllis (Randy) Sterling, Hobert Jr. (Thomasena) Barfield; Vernell (Sharon) Barfield; Barbara Roundtree, Douglas and Wayne Kelley, Cleveland Barton and Jerry Sr. Roundtree. Three God brothers, Kenneth Wilbanks, Anthony Smith, and Darrell Carter, a God sister, Suzette Ridgeway, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Sean was preceded in death by Stonewall Kelley, father; Bill Nunely, father-in-law; Hobert Sr. and Delphine Barfield, grandparents; JC and Sibyle Kelley, grandparents; Brenda Barton, Mary Patricia Barfield, and Yvonne Pearson, aunts, and Teresa Deas, cousin.
