Koplien, Sharon Lynn, “Sherry” (nee Wileden)

Passed peacefully on August 10, 2022 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Brian Koplien, and loving mother of Craig (Maureen) Koplien and Christine (Gary) Farris. Cherished grandmother of Courtney (Troy) Fochs, Amanda Koplien and Katie Koplien.

Dear sister of Gayle (Daniel) Bacon, and sister-in-law of the late Gary Koplien, the late Jeffrey (Judy) Koplien, Maryanne Story, Karen (Joe) Kelley, nieces Nicole, Jenna, Rachel and nephews Robb and Chad.

Sherry was born in Sussex, Wisconsin on August 13, 1944, the daughter of Clyde and Margie Wileden (nee Honeyager). She graduated from Waukesha High School, then went on to settle in Pewaukee with husband Brian.

Sherry spent over 35 years working as a cook at Pewaukee High School. During that time, she fed thousands of students and staff, including her son, daughter, and three granddaughters.

Sherry’s passions included spending time with precious friends, including Patricia Tjaaland, Diana and Gil Plotkin, Darlene Rabiego and Gary Zuercher. She also loved to travel – especially cruises and visits to Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada.

Sherry’s family would like to thank the staff at Angel’s Grace Hospice for their care and compassion.

Sherry requested remembrances be made to the Pewaukee High School Scholarship Fund.

Visitation with the family will take place on Friday, August 19 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin.
