Of Covington, GA, formerly of Milwaukee, WI, entered into Eternal Life March 22, 2018 after an extended battle with pancreatic cancer.
Cherished life partner of the late Timothy Taylor, beloved sister of Neil (Tammy) Czarnecki and Joy Czarnecki, beloved aunt of Kiley and Judson Churco, Erin (Karl) Kettner, and Damon Czarnecki, beloved great-aunt of Dylan Czarnecki and Julia Kettner. Also survived by Timothy Taylor, Jr. and Janice (Mark) Corkery and children Alex, Jack, Avery, and Parker.
Preceded in death by grandparents Alvin and Emma Keller and Joseph and Alma Czarnecki, and parents Alfred and Eileen Czarnecki.
Shelley was a nationally-recognized Certified Professional Catering Executive (CPCE) and Owner/President of Beyond Cuisine for sixteen years. She also directed catering operations at Affairs To Remember for 9 years, V Richards for 3 years, Murphy’s Catering and Larry’s Brown Deer Market for 3 years. She served as the National President of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) 1994-1998, was inducted into the Atlanta Chapter of the Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI) and served as the Atlanta Chapter president, and has served on the Advisory Board for Atlanta’s Allie Awards. Shelley received two Honorary Doctorate of Foodservice Medallions, the Allie Awards Lifetime Achievement Award, and was inducted into NACE’s National Hall of Fame.
