Many years ago Susan and I became Kappa Alpha Theta sorority sisters. Thus we have been friends for a very long time. In 1990, a group of us Badger Thetas, in our age range, started a yearly fun filled reunion. Each year we chose a different place for the reunion. We often picked a city near the home of one of our Theta sisters — San Francisco, Toronto, Sedona, Chicago, Seattle, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Scottsdale, etc. For 29 years Susan was a very loyal member of this traveling Theta group. We truly enjoyed those special Theta “meetings”, The group will not be the same without Susan. We all will miss her. I know my sisters join me in extending heartfelt condolences to Susan’s family.

My connection to Susan was through the Theta Alum Chapter. She was such a tireless worker for the group- being in charge of keeping an accurate record of all the alums in the greater Milwaukee area- year after year. This was not an easy job, but she was such a gracious and welcoming woman. I worked with her on the alum board, and appreciated her sound and creative input. We will all miss her. The family has my sincere sympathy in this loss.

Susan was such an integral part of West Suburban - Milwaukee's AAUW Branch. She was a constant supporter, attendee and instrumental for leading the effort to raise money for the scholarships we award annually. We will miss her smiling face at our meetings and events. My condolences to the entire family for their loss.
