Hi Dad, Since Pat came here and left you a message, thought I'd do the same. I hope he is finally at peace and wrapped in the arms of you, mom, and Lor. I like to imagine you all sharing the "O'Brien Special" and telling stories of those of us still down here. We miss you all so much. Leave the light on for us (not anytime soon, please). :) Love you to the moon and back! ❤️🌙

Tom fathered a wonderful family that through Jennifer’s marriage to my son, Ian, I have been introduced to. At Jen and Ian’s wedding Tom shared some of the poems he has written over the years as part of a conversation with me. I don’t remember the exact words of one of the poems he recited, but he told me it was inspired by his love for his wife Marilyn, a fitting poem to share on the wedding day of their daughter. He held my hand as he remembered it and I can still recall the brightness of his eyes and the velvet in his voice as he shared it with me. I felt very close to him on that day and in that moment. I am sorry I will not have another chance to hear those poems or see those eyes or swaddle in that voice but I thank him immensely for that moment and for his daughter Jennifer in my life. I am so sorry for your loss O'Brien family.
