Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023, at the age of 82.

He was the youngest of Peter and Daisy Feierstein’s four children. On August 3rd, 1963, he married the love of his life and devoted wife, Cathy. Together they had four children and were blessed with 55 years of marriage. Tom will be missed by his four children: Robert (Gail); Lori (Chris Pasbrig); John (Michelle); Jim (Hillary Anderson); his grandchildren: Kyle and Randi Feierstein; Caitlyn Pasbrig; Gabby and Brianna Feierstein; Parker Anderson. Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy.

Tom served the Village of Shorewood, WI as a Building Inspector for 30 years. During his tenure with the Village, he participated in numerous government boards and professional organizations. He served as the President of the Wisconsin Building Inspectors Association in 1983 and was named the Inspector of the year for the same organization in 1995. At his retirement he was nicknamed the “Superman of Shorewood” for his dedication to serving the community.

Outside of work, Tom was a lifelong supporter of Scouting. He dedicated over the 20 years to Holy Apostles Troop 93. He was also an active member of the Holy Name Society for over 20 years. Tom also grew to be an avid collector of local artists’ work.

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM. Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, Tom and his family would appreciate donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in his memory.
