It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Thomas Parish passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at age 30.
Thomas is survived by his parents; Diane Parish (Nee Wegman), Wauwatosa, WI, Steve Parish, Reno, NV; his older sisters Katelyn (Katie) Parish, Wauwatosa, WI, Kelly (Parish) Niebur, Jary Niebur, brother-in-law, and Sophia Niebur, beloved niece, Milwaukee, WI. His maternal grandmother Phyllis Wegman, his paternal grandfather Forrest (Frosty) Parish, Aunt Susie, Uncle Pete, Aunt Lynne, Uncle Chuck, Aunt Barbie, Uncle Bill, and cousins.
Thomas was born in Madison, WI on August 20th, 1991. He attended grade school at St. Charles Catholic School in Hartland, WI as well as St. Jerome Parish School in Oconomowoc, WI. He attended High School at Catholic Memorial (CMH) in Waukesha, WI, transferred and graduated from Arrowhead High School in Hartland, WI. He was recruited and accepted a scholarship to play football at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and later transferred to the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota. He graduated and received a BA Business-Financial Management Degree in 2015.After several years living and working in Chicago, he recently relocated back to the Milwaukee area to be closer to family and friends. He worked remotely for Alaska based McKinley Financial Capital Group.
Thomas could be a BIG presence and become the Quarterback of the room. He was also sensitive, fearless, caring, loving, and insightful. He often had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. He was a passionate follower of all Wisconsin sports: Packers, Bucks, Brewers, Badgers. He loved them all. He had an eclectic taste in a wide variety of music and regularly received and shared Spotify playlists with friends and relatives. He had a soft spot in his heart for dogs and kids, especially for his little niece Sophia. Having Thomas in our life was an absolute blessing.
An open visitation will be held from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive Brookfield, Wisconsin 53072. A private service is scheduled for immediate family prior to the visitation.
In lieu of flowers Donations will be given to favorite charities in Thomas’ name and will help offset expenses.
