Verna Belle Heiges (Nee Syvertson) reunited with her loving husband, Bracken George Heiges, on February 7, 2022, at age 89. Loving mom of Katherine Wadsworth, Kristine Greenwood, Bracken II (Beth), Karla (Perry) Benatti, and Sandra Janagold (Mary Muellenbach). Proud grandma of 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren who brought her absolute joy. Preceded in death by daughter Karen Heiges-Williams, son-in-law Bill Williams, and granddaughter Andrea Cotton. Verna was born in Iola, Wisconsin to the late Milton and Lydia Syvertson, moving to Milwaukee in the 1940’s. Mom was a wonderful and kind empathetic person who never said a negative word, and was always smiling and laughing. She was a long-time member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and volunteered at St. Michael’s and St. Joseph’s Hospitals. Verna was the Bingo and Sheepshead Queen at Meadowmere.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM. Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
