Vernon R. Bernhagen

Born into Eternal Life on February 2, 2010, at age 89. Devoted husband of Eleanore (nee Sobczak) for 64 years. Dear father of James (Judy), Michael (Amy), Donald (Jan) and the late Timothy. Proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Monday, February 8, at 4-7PM. Additional visitation at ST. MATTHIAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 9306 W. Beloit Rd., on Tuesday at 9:30AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10AM. Burial at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Vern was a proud veteran of WWII and retired from Wisconsin Electric.
