Entered Eternal Life Thursday, July 8, 2010, after a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer. Vic was born July 31, 1941, in Elkhorn, to Victor A. and Doris (nee Kauer) Share. He graduated from Elkhorn High School in 1959 and attended Whitewater College. Vic and his soul mate, Lynn, had their first date in June 1962 at the Hales Corners Speedway. They were married Feb. 14, 1970, and they were the first married couple to retire together from Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. in March 1997. Vic is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn (nee Hansen), cousins, friends and neighbors, along with his pals Josie and Maddie. He was a past commander of Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and is past president of the Menominee Valley Chapter 47 Clock and Watch Association. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 W. National Ave., New Berlin, with a special ceremony of honors by the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 16000 W. National Ave., New Berlin. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park, 14875 W. Greenfield Ave., New Berlin, immediately following the Mass. A heartfelt appreciation is extended to Dr. Laura McCartland, Oncology Alliance and Zilber Hospice for the ease, comfort and support the family received. Donations in Victor's memory will be gratefully appreciated to Son's of Norway Fosselyngen Lodge #82 or to the American Cancer Society.
