Losing a parent is extremely hard on a child. Especially a parent as loving and active in your lives as your mom was. It was a great blessing to have her so long in your lives. Especially the past year when she was in West Bend with you full time. You packed alot of memories in the time your shared with her. Finding comfort in the fact she is with Dad and Craig again is something you will find eventually. For now, cry, mourn, miss her.....that is ok to take care of your need to be sad. It is ok to break down for no reason. It is ok to feel angry that you can't have a cup of coffee with her, or go to the parade with her. Take your time, grieve at your own pace. Where there was great love....there will be great grief. Love to you all.

My condolences to the Ekker family. I am Dennis Schultz's daughter, we used to go camping together at Double K-D Ranch in Baraboo, WI with the Ekker family. Those were good times and great memories I will never forget. "Letcho" was always the best meal, I loved it.

I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Mom Barbara and family. Comfort comes from knowing she is eternally well now and back with her beloved husband and son. It is their turn to have her to themselves for a while. Your memories of her are many and joyful and full of love. What a beautiful, unbroken circle of life and love she completed. You are truly blessed to have had such a wonderful bond. Peace and comfort to you all.
