Virginia Tausz

Virginia Anne Tausz (nee Bodden) passed away September 11, 2018, at the age of 93.  She was preceded in death by her husband Martin Tausz, parents Ralph Michael Bodden and Alma Henrietta Vizay Bodden, sister’s Rosemary Bodden Petersen, and Ruth Bodden, and brother Ralph Michael Bodden.   She is survived by her children Michael Albert (Sharon) Harding and Anne Louise (Andrew Guerriero) Harding; grandchildren John Michael, Katherine Suzanne, Robert David, Nicholas Sander Simon, Michaela Anne Simon; and great-grandchild Benjamin Rodric Harding.

Virginia was born September 29, 1924, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  She grew up in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and graduated from Mount Mary University with a degree in Art and Art History. She taught high school English and Art/Art History in Michigan, and she taught art classes in Illinois.  She continued to paint throughout her life, and she won several awards for her artwork.
