73 Warren. I will miss visiting with you at every single hamfest. Thanks for helping me with many club projects and welcoming me when I first moved to the area. My warmest condolences to you, Deb.

I am so sorry for your loss Deb. I never met you but I met Warren through my friend Robert Ranney. We attended fish fries and some other ham events. I remember how kind and patient Warren was. He was a good man and I'm sure he will be missed by many whose lives he touched.
Richard Radmer (kc9pel) left a message on October 26, 2019:
Deb, I'm so sorry for your loss. Warren will truly be missed. I once joked with Warren and told him he should not be on Ham radio. You see it is for amateurs and Warren was a professional. You could always come to warren for a question and he would always be able to help you. Sorry I could not make to the church and again sorry for your loss.

Warren was a very early contact when I received my technician license in 2010. He has been a collaborator and a friend. His ability to stay in control of his emotions even in the face of angry rhetoric was a great attribute. His knowledge of Ham radio was vast and he always shared when asked. I will miss him greatly.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My condolences to you Deb. Besides singing with Warren at our First Friday Fish Fries he helped me in many ways. I am shocked that our last songs together were October 4th. I hope somebody steps up to keep the 1St Friday fish fry going. Besides, I still owe you a drink.

Hello Deb, My condolences to you and all the family. There are two fond things that I remember about Warren. The first being that Warren was my first two meter contact some 31+ years ago. I was introduced to two meter FM contacts and repeaters thanks to Warren. The second being that I equated Warren to Amateur Radio as Bob Uecker is to baseball. Warren was always willing to share his knowledge of amateur radio with anyone who asked. He also promoted amateur radio in many ways and was known by many in Southeastern Wisconsin and around the state of Wisconsin. Although he is no longer among us, his legacy in amateur radio will continue on for many years to come. Take care, Wes Andersen, N9YE

Remember the first time that I got my license and Warren was the first one that I had talked to. Also all the times at the fish fry.

I extend my deepest condolences to Warren's entire family. I share in your sorrow. Warren was definitely a legend in the WI Amateur Radio sphere. I always found him to be friendly, helpful, gentle, intelligent and interesting. He always exhibited an intentional and subtle humor with me. Personally, I thought he had a voice that possessed absolutely the right tone and timbre for the radio. He was always quick to respond to calls throughout the repeater's coverage area and I for one will certainly miss hearing his voice on the SE Wisconsin Amateur Airwaves. My prayers and wishes for long and happy memories go to you all. Best Regards.
