Passed away peacefully on June 1, 2023, at age 94. Beloved Husband of Helga for 73 years. Devoted Father of Wolfgang (the late Denise) and Ronald Roggenbuck. Proud Opa of Lisa (Nate) Dickson, Keelee Roggenbuck, and Rebecca (Geroul) Lasala. Cherished great-grandfather of Ethan, Sofia, and Camille. Also loved by other family and friends.
Werner was born in Berlin, Germany to Margarete (nee Gauger) Roggenbuck. After attending school in Berlin, Werner completed his apprenticeship as a Tool and Die maker. After WWII he married Helga Werner and moved to Milwaukee with their son Wolfgang in 1951. Their second son Ronald was born in 1954. Werner was a dedicated father that always put family first.
He loved taking long family vacations in the US (with the camper) and Europe. He was an extraordinary movie maker of all the family vacations. In 1991 Helga and Werner moved to Florida for their retirement. He was a Mr. Fix-It and always helped his neighbors. Werner belonged to the German Clubs of Wisconsin and Florida. He was a kind, devoted husband, father, and friend.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8, at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin from 4:30 PM until time of Service at 5:30 PM.
Burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park on Friday at 10:00 AM. (Meet in the Green parking area).
