Called home to the Lord on Saturday, December 22, 2018, age 91. Survived by the love of his life, Marion, for 70 years. Beloved Dad of Barbara (Bill) Berens, Cindy (Ted) Nowak, and Gregg (Nancy) Stengel. Proud Grandpa of Bryan (Kelly) Berens, Nikki (Matt) Sansone, Ryan Nowak, Lyn-Marie (Phil) Hackbarth, Jared (Jennette) Stengel, Shelly (Adam) Mrotek, and Shaina (Adam “Wolfie”) Gaglione.  Loving Great Grandpa of Kassidy Berens (fiance Jordan Farrey), Skylar, Keelyn, MaKenna Berens; Ambrose, Henry, and Brooks Sansone; Landon and Teagan Hackbarth; Jocelyn, Austin, and Nolan Stengel; Madalynn and Lucy Mrotek. Further survived by extended family, Cindy (Bob) Long and A.J. Corona, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, WI on Sunday, December 30, 2018, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Service will be on Monday, December 31, 2018, 10:00 AM, at Greenfield Park Lutheran Church, 1236 South 115th Street, West Allis. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park.

Wes was an employee of Milwaukee County Park’s and Highway Dept for 31 years, where he retired in 1984. Wes proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Navy.
