“Bill” passed away peacefully on September 15th at the age of 93. Preceded in death by his good friend Joan Brantsch. Preceded in death by his dear sister Josephine (Dennis) O’Keefe. The best dad ever to Robin.Loving grandpa to Carrie (Curtis) Strohl, Sarah (Bob) Ludan and Christopher. Fun great-grandpa to Leo and Lexi Ludan. Also loved by nieces Maureen O’Keefe and Kathy (Bob) Milinski and other relatives and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Bajwa, staff and nurses at St. Luke’s Medical Center for all the loving care you provided.
Bill served in the US Navy 1944 – 1946. He worked at Continental Can Company as a machinist for 36 years and was able to enjoy retirement for 33 years. He was a longtime member of The American Legion Post 0449.
Bill loved to fish, bowl, travel and spend time with his family. He has traveled to Japan, China, Africa, Spain, Europe and most of the US including 13 vacations in Hawaii.
Bill was deeply loved and will be missed by all.
His passing leaves a big hole in our hearts.
