William M. Gardner passed away peacefully on Monday, October 30, 2023 at the age of 90 and was reunited with his beloved wife, Betty, of 57 years.
Loving father of Amy (Michael) Taylor, Daniel (Patty), and Robert (Dawn). Proud Grandfather of Emily, Anna (Josh) Lehmann, Erin, and Lizzy.
Served as Director of Libraries at Marquette University for 21 years.
Proud Army Veteran.
The family would like to thank the staff of assisted living, rehab, and skilled nursing at St. Camillus for their compassionate care, with special thanks to Lauren and Roxanne.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 4th at 10:30 AM with a service to follow at 11:30 AM at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Private entombment service.
