William “Bill” L. Hunley

William L. Hunley “Bill” – Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 28, 2023 at age 91. 

Preceded in death by his wife, Lilly.  Loving father of Arthur (Wendy) Hunley, Alan (Jean) Hunley and Kim Jalalian.  Proud grandpa of Adam Hunley, Tania Hunley, Andrea (Ian) Nelson, Amy Connolly, Leighton (Olga) Hunley, Lucas (Abby) Hunley, Lynn (Adam) Welander, Behzad (Daniela) Jalalian, Chantel (Thomas) Batogiannis and Jasmine Jalalian.  Cherished great grandpa of Lily, Isaiah, Alexis, Laurel, Juniper, Asher, Maggie, Kennedy, Ella, Ophelia, Liam, Evan, Nora and Emma.  Dear brother of the late Illene (Richard) Maxey, the late Karen Wolford, Clayton “Bud” (Sharon) Hunley and Pamela (Bruce) Carlow.  Bill will be missed by many other relatives and friends. 

Bill was a retired Mechanical Engineer.  He was an avid skier both water and snow.  Bill was a long-standing member of the Pewaukee Water Ski Club, National Ski Patrol at Alpine Valley, Vagabond Ski and Social Club, Fluid Power Society, Lions Club and B.O.L.D. (Blind Outdoor Leisure Development). 

A very special thanks to Audrey Adams for her loving care and companionship to Bill. 

Memorial Gathering on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Pewaukee Water Ski Club appreciated.
