Dear Liz and Lauren, I was one of Bills retail agents working with his office staff in Dallas. My heart is heavy to hear of your loss. Bill was a stand up guy and lived his life by a high standard. His integrity and leadership are hard to find in world today. Bill was truly one of a kind. My prayers and thoughts are with you. He was a fine professional and I’m sure a great father and husband. Blessings...

Just today I learned the news of Bill's passing. The news is very sad! Bill was a great and caring man. A mentor to many but more than anything else I loved to see his smile and twinkle in his eye when he talked about his family. I heard many wonderful stories of Lauren. He loved her so. He was a proud father, husband and Patriot. He served his country and was a champion in business. My condolences to the family.

Liz and Lauren and family- I am sorry for your loss. In1990, at my age 24, Bill took a chance on me. I was in junior college, attending night school, and he hired me for my 1st sales job. Bill coached me on my first cold call, reprimanded me for wearing a “cocktail dress” to work, and encouraged me to transfer to a “real college” where I later earned my 4-yr degree - Go Cougs! (He would not sign my Tuition Reimbursement Request Forms with a C...only A’s and B’s— He made his own rules). Later, Bill told me I was throwing away money by renting- and he taught me how to negotiate a good deal on my first house. He moved on to bigger and better things, but always checked in on his first sales team— not forgetting the little people. Much later in life, I thanked Bill for his mentorship— and he quite humbly accepted the credit. Lauren- I never had the chance to meet you, but please know that your father’s brass buttons would burst when he spoke of you. He’s so proud of you, and if you listen real closely in your thoughts and prayers and dreams, your dad will continue to guide you. He’s looking down now. -Jamie “Coop”

Dear Liz, Lauren, & other Reeg family members, What a loss for all of us! We have so many great memories of Bill and your family that we just keep reminencing about them… one after another. He was just a great guy. He made it easy to “love thy neighbor”, and we did. We still miss you guys in Texas. Wish we could be there in person to help celebrate Bill’s life and hug you. Just know that we are present in spirit, and praying that God’s comfort sustains all of you during this difficult time. Much Love, Greg, Mary, Collier, Andrea and Carson

My deepest condolences to Bill's wife and daughter. I worked with Bill at Assurant as an Underwriter. I always enjoyed his visits to Boise. He was a great guy and you always knew where you stood with him. I was sad when he left the company and sadder now that he has joined Our Lord in Heaven. God Bless all his Family and Friends.

To the family of Bill Reeg. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I appreciated Bill more than he knew. I always knew where I stood with Bill and to find people who would be open and honest with you in a work environment isn't always easy to achieve. Bill preached being a leader and many of those lessons have stayed with me. He will be missed, I'm sure you are proud of him and you should be.

Mr. Reeg, the Taggetts are so very sad for your family’s loss but we know you are already planning some excellent projects involving rockets or fireworks up there in Heaven. Bill, you were so very well loved by these kids, for your endless enthusiasm for science and learning. You embraced your second career of teaching with such gusto and I know you inspired so many St Bruno School kids! We are so so sad about this. Cole’s now 7th grade class was just talking about you today, Bill. You are revered as one of their all time favorite teachers and people. We wish your family peace and strength at this time. Know that we will continue to pray for all of you. Much love, the Taggetts: Mia, Cole and Liam and parents Mary & Brad

The memory of Bill will never leave me. He gave so much of himself to his family, and extended that to our community. I can honestly and confidently say that without Bill in the life of our community, bonds of friendship would never have formed. He new how to motivate a person to get involved and make a difference in the lives of others.

We knew Bill from our Illinois State years and the get togethers at their apartment on Stewart Street. Always upbeat, honest and funny, Bill will be missed. It was 33 years ago today that he attended our wedding and we are sorry we only got to see him over one weekend since then, back in Normal at a small reunion event. Our thoughts are with Liz and Lauren and the rest of his family. Sir Bill, Rest In Peace.

Bill had so much energy and passion in life that his passing is so very shocking. My deepest sympathy for Liz and Lauren. Bill’s focus and intensity helped many people achieve at higher levels. He cared a great deal and his passion was contagious. He helped others generously, unselfishly. What a good man.

Liz & Lauren, I am so sorry for your loss. Bill gave me my first real job and the best ten years of my career in Dallas. He always motivated me and made me try harder. He could scare the heck out of me but was the first one to give you a pat on the back. I’ll remember the hunting and fishing and of course all of the great Northstar trips. He was a great man who had a profound influence on everyone who had the privilege to know and work with him. I will miss him greatly and keep you in my prayers.
