Zackery D. Hawthorne, 66 years, of Milwaukee, passed away surrounded by family on May 3, 2022 at his home. He is survived by his children Shelby, Cameron and Devin; grandchildren Bryce, Caden and Cameron Christina; sister Carolyn and brothers Lavert and Patrick. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Jessie (nee Hooker), and brother, Sonny.

Zackery had great joy in being with his grandchildren and seeing his children succeed in life. In his spare time he enjoyed horses, silver-smithing, and he was a craftsman of all types of jewelry.

Throughout his life, family has been his foundation and strength during his time of struggle.

We know it would be important to Zackery to say “May God be the Glory” for his family and friends who have supported him throughout his life.

Funeral visitation to be held on Sunday, May 8, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin followed by a going home service at 2:30 PM in the funeral home chapel.
