In April of 2019 we met just before Greek Easter and she made Greek cookies for my dad who passed shortly after. She made me cookies this past Xmas and I still have the package with her signature. May her memory be eternal. Luv, Nicki

We didn't have the pleasure of meeting or knowing Joy but have gotten to know her daughter, Cassie, quite well over the past 3.5 years while she's been down our way attending college at the University of Alabama. We've been aware of Joy's diagnosis from early on and have followed her journey from afar for the past two and a half years, hoping and praying for a different outcome. Unfortunately, her life and fight came to end far too soon early Wednesday morning. Please accept our sincerest and heartfelt condolences. We feel absolutely heartbroken for Cassie and her two brothers who will now have to traverse life without their mom.
