I am still not ready to accept this as he was way too young to leave us all. He has been such a great spirit to shine on all of us. He has touched so many and joked with us all. His seriousness was quickly dismissed with his little smirk he would give after! He has always been close to our family and my brothers and I in so many ways. The friendship he had with all of us and especially our parents after the kids have all moved out and on has been wonderful. I know my parents would always go to movies and out to eat together. He loved to razz my mom and I know she will miss that. I know the card club, breakfast club, etc will miss him very much and I know we will all reconnect with him one day in heaven. I am sure he is already pulling pranks, maybe running the ping pong tables and probably doing huge cannonballs (to get Rains windows wet) with the big man upstairs. Miss you big Al! Aaron, Jason and Jody - please know your support group is enormous and we will lift you up when you need it most. Much love and prayers for you all at this difficult time in your life.

Great loss to the this community and the home construction industry. Al will be remembered by me for his great approach to sharing his knowledge and wisdom. He mentored me on the MBA board and also in the Construction Arbitration Board. His leadership inspired me during numerous occasions to push myself to further improve the industry. I will miss him.

Al was one of the reasons I looked forward to attending MBA functions. He always had a smile and a warm welcome. The world is a little less joyful without him. He will be missed.

What a very sad day. Go so far back with Al to our days at Kings Way. The building industry has lost an incredible voice of reason and knowledge. I always loved Al's wonderful sense of humor. We will miss him.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I first knew Al as a child while playing on his soccer team. Over the years I would find Al at Aaron's and Jason's school events and throughout High School I saw Al at what seemed every wrestling meet and football game. Over the approximate 33 years I have known AL I have witnessed first hand his love for his children, grandchildren and wife, generosity towards others and his savviness for homebuilding and business sense. He was a mentor, coach, at times an employer and often treated me like a son. I enjoyed our conversations and looked forward to running into him. Al will be sorely missed.
