Cherished great-grandma of Anna, Abby, Ellie, Chase, Aidan, Lucas, Peyton, Landyn, Bricyn, Rowyn, Teaghyn, Braxtyn, Ayla, and Harrison. She will be missed by other relatives and friends.
Arlene will be lovingly welcomed by her husband Richard and children, Jimmy, Rick, and Mary.
Arlene was the sixth child born to Marie (nee Mueller) and Arthur Schiedemeyer. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Bernice, Alice, Shirley and Kathleen; brothers, Howard, Francis “Butch”, Arthur, Cyril, Ronald and James. She is survived by her brother, Daniel.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Tuesday, October 5, 20201 from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM. Additional Visitation at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6060 West Loomis Road, Greendale, Wisconsin on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 10:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Please meet at the office at 12:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be used for Arlene’s favorite charities.
Arlene retired from Steigerwald Construction after 36 years. She was a genealogist extraordinaire researching her family tree back to the 1700’s. Arlene was an active participant and organizer of both her Grade School (St. Peter & Paul) and High School (Riverside) Reunions and Breakfast Club. She enjoyed Bingo, Video Poker, and Casinos with her son Jimmy. Arlene will always be loved and missed.
