Arthur C. Kidd “Artie” was born April 4, 1955 to the marriage of Arthur and Grayce Kidd.
Artie attended MPS Fourth Street Elementary school and went on to Lincoln Middle High school and graduated January 1973.
Artie and Pamela had been together 44 years and united in marriage December 25, 1983.
Artie completed a 4 year Electrical apprenticeship study to become a Journeyman Electrician, working with IBEW 494 for 34 years.
Artie gave his life to the Lord in May 1989. Falling in love with Jesus and wanted to serve the Lord and his life being transformed he loved John 3:16-17 and II Corinthians 5:17. Serving as first Deacon at Balm in Gilead being alongside Pastor Walter Leigh Bates. Going deeper in Christ moved his family to Little Rock, Arkansas to be full-time ministry at World Of Outreach Ministry completing the call in Little Rock, Arkansas and returning himself and his family back to Milwaukee, WI and sharing the love of Jesus.
Artie became ill of Alzheimer’s he fought a good fight and he finished the race he kept his faith. On December 29,2020 he departed from this life at home with his family by his side.
Artie leaves behind to cherish his loving wife Pamela (Cobb) Kidd, children Arthur C. Kidd III and Dezteny C. Kidd; grandchildren Naya Moore-Kidd, Nyree Peterson, Cameron Billingsly-Kidd and Imani Driver-Kidd. Also leaves behind a great-granddaughter Nayeli Davenport. Siblings Terry Harris and Tonjuana Kidd and many family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Grayce Kidd and three sisters Joanne Kidd, Tomara Kidd, and Beverly Billups.
Artie will be truly missed by his smile, laughter, generous heart, kindness and his loving spirit.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment at Graceland Cemetery.
