“Buzz” Passed away on January 1, 2010, at the age of 79, following a two year battle with cancer. Husband of 41 years to Audrey (nee Cerny). Dad and hunting partner of Richard (Kathie) Jensen. Father and friend to Judith (Albert) Roccapalumba. Papa to Annette (David) Garrett, Jeanette (James) Robinson, Danin (Kristin) Jensen and Tammy (Charles) Schuster. Preceded in death by grandson and hunting partner, Brandon Jensen. Great papa to Sean, Lilliana, Alysse, Philipp, Alic, Victoria, and Emlyn. Also survived by his half brother Earl of Ishpeming, MI. Basil retired from GE. At age 79 he received his long overdue Purple Heart for being wounded twice in the Korean War. Papa loved his deer and turkey hunting and was a great shot. Listening to him sing his songs at night at the cabin was a real treat and will be missed. Visitation at the Funeral Home Tuesday, January 5, 4-6:45 PM. Service 7 PM. Private burial Sugar Camp.
