Laura and Hobie, I am so sorry for your loss. There are no words I can say that can ease your pain, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Seeing all of the pictures of Ben took me back to when we were kids. Days spent fishing, swimming and playing at the lake while traveling from one cottage to the next while the mom's,aunt's and grandma's made sure we were all well fed. For many years our summer would come to end at the lake and we would say our goodbyes. The next summer would come and there would be Ben with a huge smile and a wave yelling across the water to come and play. With out thought we would pick up where we left off the previous year and all the fun would be repeated. As the years went by we got busy living our own lives and grew apart. As I look through the pictures I saw the kid I once knew in the man that Ben was, that huge smile and all the kind words others have written reminded me of what a good and kind person he was. Thank you for the memories and you will never be forgotten.

Rest easy Ben, you were such an awesome cousin growing up. We had some good times at the cottage, moments I'll never forget. You always knew how to cheer people up. I'm sorry we became so distant in these recent years, moments we didn't get to have. Time is as relentless as it is cruel and I am deeply sadden that a good man so full of life and spirit had to leave us so young. Return, Ben, to the great cosmic ocean we are all bound to, you will be greatly missed.

Ben was such an amazing guy; it really was a pleasure to know him and call him a friend. He was someone who was able to light up a room; always cracking a joke or telling a story; someone who made shifts at work bearable. He will be truly missed but his memory will live on forever.
