Bob Jewell

Passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019, age 84. Loving husband of Lynn. Survived by his children, Craig, Robert, Lisa and Lonnie. Proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren. Stepfather of 8, grandfather of 16 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Cora and Lois, other family members and friends. Preceded in death by his late wife, Ginny Jewell and 7 siblings.

Bob was born 9th of 10 children on the family farm in Gillett, WI. He moved to Milwaukee in the late 50’s, where he met his late wife, Ginny and married in 1965. They moved their family of 4 to Hartland, where he made memories and raised his family. He encouraged his children to have a sense of adventure and not to worry about the little things. He had a great work ethic and passed it along to his children. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life and later retired from Car-X in Waukesha.

Bob met his wife of 20 years, Lynn, where he became a father figure to her children and grandchildren. Bob had a passion for fixing cars. When Bob would ask you “how is your car running,” this was Bob’s way of saying how much he loved and cared about you.

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin 53072, on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at 2:00 PM – 3:45 PM. Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the American Heart Association.
