A celebration of life will be held this summer for family and close friends.

Robert Lee Jones, 70, joined his Heavenly Father on March 14, 2023 while residing in his home in Milwaukee, WI after battling cancer.

Robert “Bobby” Jones was born on November 11, 1952 in Coahoma, Mississippi to Paralee Jones and Bonzie Middlebrooks. He worked at Miller Compressing for more than 10 years and later owned his own transportation business. Bobby was actively involved with his church. He loved fishing, hunting and was an avid movie-goer.

Bobby Jones is survived by his five children and their spouses Lovletta White (Mike White), Kelly Brown (Dart Brown), Kim Springer (Dwain Springer), April Jones, and Robert Jones II (Amanda Jones), eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Poppy Jude and sister Julia Lewis.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bobby last summer. He went on a fishing trip with my husband. Bobby was here at our home with his son while Scott cleaned the fish they caught (it was quite the catch!) I have to say his smile was contagious, his enthusiasm for fishing was like no other and I could see the love of Jesus just illuminating from this wonderful soul. My he rest in peace with his Lord and savior and I can’t wait to see him again on the other side.

I had the pleasure to fish with this man last summer on Lake Winnebago. Bobby and his son put the beating on a large assortment of fish. As I recall limit of walleyes(note pic of Bobby fist pump beating his son on biggest walleye...His son did redeem himself with a monster catfish...I They caught well over 20 fish...Im sure Bobby is fishing right NOW.
