Charles L. Entwisle

Charles was born in Shreveport, LA to William and Ruth Entwisle (Herndon) and grew up in Salina, KS along with brother Bill (deceased).
Father of 6 children, Charles dedicated his life to his family & his deep Catholic faith. He was a 3rd & 4th degree Knight and Grand Knight in The Knights of Columbus and served multiple roles in the church throughout his life.

Charles worked as an Engineer Inspector for Federal Government, CH2M Hill, AECOM, and Earthteck, building dams and deep tunnels before retiring at the age of 74. His work carried the family to multiple states stretching from the West, the South, the Midwest and beyond. The extensive travels made for a perfect complement to his love of camping and playing cards with family.

Charles is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margaret, daughters Angela (Anthony) Miley, Margaret, Carrie (Mike) Olson and son Joe (Erin) as well as multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son Chuck (Pat) and daughter Marcella.

Due to COVID, a private funeral will be held at Old Saint Mary’s at 844 North Broadway on March 23, 2021. The rosary will start at 2:40 PM and a funeral at 3:00 PM.
