Died peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2019. Age 98. Loving father of Beth (David) Schulz, Christian P. “Kit” (Vicki), the late Susan (Curt) Ahrendsen, and Jennifer (Steve) Nahn. Proud grandfather of Mike (Samantha) Schulz, Katherine Schulz, Ben Schulz, Michelle (Brian) Nabak, Katie (Chris) Weseloh, Rebekah (Daniel) Ongoro, Emma Ahrendsen, Anne Ahrendsen, Maggie Ahrendsen, Gabriel Nahn, and Adam Nahn. Great-grandfather of Sophie Schulz, Timothy Schulz, and Gavin Ongoro. Brother of Phyllis Ehlke. Kind step-father of Nancy (Jim) Dernbach, Joan (Sal) Sanicola, Debra (Randy) Sheble, Lori Ehlke, Karen (Dave) McAdams, and their families. Also loved by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his wives, Elaine (nee Mueller) and Anita (nee Miksch).

Visitation at Nain Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1665 South 57th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Saturday, June 29, 2019, from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM.  Service at 10:30 AM. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park to follow. Please meet at the cemetery at 12:00 pm in the Green Parking area.

Christian proudly served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII.

I am one of Stans sons and live in Menomonee Falls. Dad has an Indermuehle Safe in the basement in Monroe. Very large and heavy. Mom just passed and we are cleaning out. Any interest? 414-791-3561

To Chris and Elaine’s children I was a student of your mother’s at Townsend. She was an incredible teacher. I loved her like she was my mom. I lived in your neighborhood and would visit her and Chris aka Mr. I often. They always welcomed me like I was one of the family. He went with us to Camp Upum woods with us. He taught me to shoot a bow and arrow. I just remember how much he was part of our class. He would come visit and we would all cheer Mr.I. I had Mrs. I for two years. When your mom died I remember going to her funeral and Hugging him and crying. I would bump into him at Mayfair and he would always take time to say hi. Such wonderful souls. I’m so sorry for your loss.
