When I first started to work for Midland, I was assigned to make some oven-formed parts. The parts weren't forming well to the mold. I was discussing this with the foreman, Frank, when Clarence came by. I didn't know who he was to start with, but Frank introduced us. He listened as we explained the problem, which was that the parts would bulge away from the mold. By the time we explained the problem, he had a solution. He suggested to hold down just the edges where it bulged; just the edges, not the main surface so as to keep it tight to the mold and not mar the surface while forming. I made a fixture using his insight. It worked great . I thanked him for his help, and thought to myself, if the owner of the company was so down to earth that he could solve any little problem that occurred in his business at the spur of the moment and was so open and easy to work with, that would be a company worth working for. Here it is 27 or so years later. Thanks for the job Clarence. The job and you have meant a lot to me over the years. This first meeting was just the start. I still have the fixture I made that day. The part is long discontinued and the mold discarded. The fixture and the memory of what it has meant to me I have kept. John Hayes, Green Bay Fabrication, soon to be retired.

To Sharon & Family - Your dad and mom will always be very special to me. He was always so welcoming when I came over to your house, and so patient with our teenage ways. Sending many prayers for you and your family. May He hold you in His arms to comfort you in your sorrow.

I very much wish to have met you sir. Although I never received the pleasure - that I can recall- I feel as though I have known you forever. The love and respect your granddaughter Carri holds for you is unprecedented. I know you to be a man of God who lead by example, encouragement , and love. So many have benefitted from you. I would like to pay my respects here although I wished to have done it in person. My husband and I would like to make a donation in your honor to Groundwork Guatamala so that the mission of Christ and education can be continued. Sincerely, Steffie and Jesse Kiefer
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
