Passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Mary. Loving father of Joanne (the late Larry) Mauser, James, Matthew (Ann) and Joseph Worzala and Mary Jean (Mark) Gloudeman. Proud grandfather of Edward Mauser, Tina (Ben) Carrasquillo, Chet Mauser, Tim (Debbie) Worzala and Thomas (Melissa) Gloudeman. Great grandfather of Zoë Mauser, Tyler, Dante and Elizabeth Carrasquillo and Zacory Mauser. He is also survived by his brother Ernie Worzala and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Martha (Hamerski) Worzala his brothers Norbert, Leonard and Frank Worzala and his sister Jeanette (the late Art) Stamm.
Chet was a veteran of World War II in the Army Air Corps 989th Air Engineer Squadron as an Airplane and Engine Mechanic stationed in Okinawa and was discharged honorably in December of 1946. He attended MSOE and received a certification in Practical Electricity and went on to work for the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works as an Electrical Mechanic for over 36 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved bowling, gardening and The Packers. He also enjoyed spending time with all of his extended family as often as possible.
Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM. Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Memorial mass will be held at Christ King Catholic Parish, 2604 North Swan Blvd, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 10:00 AM. He will be cremated and his interment with full Military Honors will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial in Union Grove on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM.
