Claude (Dane) Everton McFarlane, Sr. was born on December 7, 1955 to Joyce Fairclough and Caleb McFarlane in Falmouth, Jamaica.
He attended Milwaukee Area Technical College and later, Milwaukee School of Engineering. He was an entrepreneur at heart and devoted much of his time to his hair care business.
Claude worked on a cruise ship for a few years and stayed connected with the love of his life, his future wife, Shirley. They later married and settled in Wisconsin and had four children.
He enjoyed taking long road trips (partly because he did not like flying), watching westerns and historical movies, and had a deep love for music and poetry.
Claude has blessed this world with his kindness, and his legacy will live on with every good deed he has done. He will be greatly missed, but comfort will be found in each memory of him.
He leaves to cherish his memory sons, Claude McFarlane, Jr., Christopher McFarlane; daughters Britney McFarlane and Natasha McFarlane; grandchildren Aubriella McFarlane, Mason McFarlane and Jayden McFarlane; brothers Errol McFarlane and Lumumba Ansah; sisters Ann Arledge and Shakura Brinsley, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
