Conrad Robert Jahn, of Milwaukee, was born August 18, 1947, at Milwaukee’s Deaconess Hospital and passed away on July 19, 2018, at Wauwatosa’s Zilber Family Hospice, following a year of treatments for lung cancer.
He attended First Immanuel Lutheran School, Cedarburg, and graduated from Homestead High School, Mequon, in 1965.
Conrad enlisted in the US Air Force and served his country honorably as a loadmaster on various cargo planes, transporting troops, civilians, and essential supplies during the Vietnam War.
The GI bill allowed him to attend and graduate from Concordia University and UW Milwaukee.
In August 1979, he married Karla Rubin in Fennimore, Wisconsin.
Conrad lived a life of service to others. His career as a Social Worker for Milwaukee County allowed him to help everyone from infants to the aged. He served the Lutheran High School Association as a janitor at several of their high schools. Most of all, he lovingly cared for his family.
Conrad was preceded in death by his father, Conrad Jahn.
