Daniel Sopa of Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2021 at the age of 34. Born February 8, 1987, Danny was the beloved son of Glen and Sharon Sopa and the brother of Dale (Jennifer) Sopa. Loving uncle of Iver and Graham Sopa. Danny was an avid sports fan and an excellent softball player himself. He was a huge fan of the Brewers, Bucks and Packers with an amazing recall of the players and their stats. Danny was a 2005 graduate of Franklin High School and a proud member of Liuna Local 113 who prided himself on his strong work ethic. Danny is survived by his loving grandmothers, Grace Sopa and Romaine Platz, who will miss him dearly, as well as, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Leonard Sopa and Wayne Platz and his cousins, Kyle Gillis and Anthony Platz. Danny also leaves behind his faithful companion, Oakley.
Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 12:00 PM – 1:45 PM. Celebration of Danny’s life will follow at 2:00 PM.
