I am the Project Superintendent on a Construction Project here in Milwaukee where Dave was the Electrical Foreman for Roman Electric. I just wanted to say that he will be sorely missed by all, and we so appreciated having him on this project. He was so very diligent, professional, and was an integral part to this projects success. Everything he did here was done with thoughtfulness and care. He had a wealth of experience and knowledge and im so sorry for your loss. He will be remembered with admiration and respect.

Krahn Family- I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I thought of him as truly good, kind and funny . I worked with Dave every now and then and frequently ran into him at the shop. He always had a smile on his face, and always had a sense of humor, no matter how good or bad his day went. In all the years of Mr Dave playing with electricity, he was safe enough not to let it take his life. I am shocked and in disbelief. He was chosen to go into the next life while doing something he liked to do in a place where he truly LOVED to be... Our thoughts and prayers for this extremely difficult time are with you.

I am so very sorry for your loss, Sheri. One thing I easily gathered about you while you were Mason’s teacher is how important you regard family. My prayers are with Dave's family. Spent lots of time together as young boys swimming in his pool , riding the mini bike , and shooting the BB gun. We were both adopted and were born at the same place just a few days apart. He will be missed but always in our hearts!

We are so shocked and sad to learn of Dave's passing. He will always be remembered as a guy who would do anything for everyone. Tears and prayers abound, Laurie and Vince

I was childhood friends with Dave. A group of us from the neighborhood would play sports, go swimming and ride our bikes. All of our parents were friends and we knew Gene and Phyllis well. We played on many NBAA teams together. On the field in grade school you didn't want to mess with Krahn. His hands were bigger than yours, he was taller than you and he was definitely stronger than you. Frankly, he was a beast and everyone knew it. Off the field, he was polite, soft spoken and kind. I have many fond memories of us growing up. In the classroom he was always one of the first to finish tests and he almost never had homework because he used his downtime at the end of each class to work on it while the rest of us sat around talking. I admired him for that. Growing up Sunday was Family Day at the Krahn house. That was non-negotiable. He wasn't coming out that day to play, period. I lost touch with Dave as we moved into high school and beyond as we moved into separate social circles but I will never forget the shared memories we had in our youth. I was devastated to hear the news of the accident and I am heartbroken for his wife and kids. My heart goes out to you all and may he rest in peace.
