Deanna was a former student in the Milwaukee Times High School Journalism Training Program, where I was the program manager and instructor. I was impressed by her talent and ability, but moreso by her character, integrity, and personal values. I thank The Great Spirit for the privilege of getting to know and respect Dee and call her Friend and Sister. May she take her rightful place with the angels, and may her family think of her with the joy that was Deanna. My deepest and heartfelt sympathy...
