Of Armstrong Creek. Age 77. Went to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 6th, 2019, with his family by his side. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on September 8th, 1941 to the late Gladys and Arthur Ninaus. Dick married Alma (DeBolt) Ninaus on October 11, 1963, and spent over 55 wonderful years together.
Dick grew up working on the family farm in Rib Lake, WI with his many siblings. He worked for Acro Automation for over 45 years as a project lead man. As part of his job, he traveled to several states, Mexico and England. Dick enjoyed many hobbies in his younger years-softball, bowling, playing cards, deer hunting, and fishing. He was an avid Packer’s fan, enjoyed traveling, arguing politics and taking trips to the casino. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved living in “God’s Country” (AKA Armstrong Creek). What he loved most was spending time with his family. Dick was an amazing and beloved husband to the love of his life Alma, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and dear friend to anyone who ever met him. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife Alma; his children James, Brian (Gina) Ninaus, Melissa (Wayne) Whitaker and CariAnne Ninaus; his grandchildren Kalynn Ninaus, Lindsay Whitaker, Jacob Ninaus and Nathaniel Whitaker; his siblings Arthur Jr. (Caryl), Bruno (Sandra), Carl (the late Barbara), Hermine (Alfred) and many other extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gladys and Arthur, granddaughter Ashtin and sister Marlene.
