Passed away suddenly on August 31, 2021. He is gone too soon – 41 years wasn’t enough. Derris will be greatly missed by his mother, Jeanette Gross. He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Taylor. Loving father of sons Osiris, Geovani, and Derris, Jr.; and daughters Jaden and Kira. Beloved brother of Stacy, Lauren, and Leah. Also loved by his nieces Latianna, Esmeé, Raziya, and Liyanah; and nephews Revere, Zion, Azur, and Nakai.
Derris loved music, and loved to do his paintings, murals, and other smaller pieces.
Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Sunday, September 19, 2021, from 3:00 PM – 5:45 PM. A service will follow at 6:00 PM. The family requests that you please wear masks.
