When I was a young child Cousin Dolores stayed at our home for a period of time. Since she was 15 years older and I'm guessing I was around 4 or 5 I don't remember about much interaction with her. I do remember her taking me downtown with her on a street car. I do remember her as being very kind and always willing to help out if needed. My parents were very fond of her.

When my mother, Frieda, became ill and was hospitalized in Virginia; Delores came down to help me care for my two young daughters while we visited my mother. The girls loved Delores, she kept them happy and they called her “Bubbles”. She made a difficult time easier.
