Don and Debbie Krause left a message on December 11, 2019:
Growing up at Bethel, Don Holmstrom was a man to be admired! He was a man of prayer! He always had time to listen. He loved playing on the baseball team. He was good friends with my sister, Marilyn and Bob. They worked together on many projects for th church. One incident I remember. The young couples had a “round robin” night. My sister, Marilyn, had the soup. I was babysitting for my sister and cleaned up her kitchen! I dumped the soup and cleaned the pot! I never lived that down! I am sure they are reliving those memories in heaven!
Daryl and Linda Kallberg left a message on December 11, 2019:
Don Holmstrom played a significant role in our lives as we arrived in Milwaukee as young people in ministry. Don and Mary were loving, caring people who encouraged and befriended us with their godly influence and kindness. Don had a great enthusiasm for Bethel softball - which he passed on to his son - and those Monday nights have many good memories thanks to Don. The last time we saw Don, he asked if we could believe how old he was! We said no, and he said he couldn't believe it either. What a great man and a great friend.
